Put Your Wedding Memories In A Website

Are you a techie bride? If you are not, maybe you should start thinking that creating a website is not the most difficult thing in the world. You can easily put a nice website together to illustrate your wedding. Of course, for the website, two things you’ll need will be a domain name and webhosting. Webhosting is easy to cope with, if you know only a few things about how it works. For example, you may need to watch some good cPanel Tutorials, in order to be able to efficiently use your website hosting. Most of the webhosting companies offer cPanel, which is a management software, very intuitive and containing good features like site builders and one click installs. Why not learn to use them? This is what you can find in the articles section of WHR, a website about webhosting, full of tutorials and ratings, so you can choose the most appropriate webhosting plan for your wedding website.

What Makes A Great Wedding Invitation

So, congratulations! You’re getting married and now you want to send out w3edding invitations to all your friends and relatives out there, so they come and join you in that important day of your life.

But how do you proceed with the wedding invitations? Do you write them yourself, do you buy pre-written ones, or what? These are a few tips to make sure your invitations will have the maximum effect, and all your friends will be glad to come to your wedding:

1. Be specific: don’t lose yourself in fluff , in tons of meaningless, nice sounding words. Just communicate the fact that you are getting married, that you wish to have them by you in that day, and give details on the place and timing of the ceremony.

2. Be timely: don’t send out the wedding invitations one week before the wedding day. Many people are programming their lives, their vacations and their activities, so you may end up with your guests not being able to cancel their prior arrangements for that day, and you’ll end up with lots of NOs for an answer.

3. Be creative: writing straight to the point does not mean that you don’t have to show some creativity in conceiving the wedding invitations. I give you only one idea: you could send out the invitations like messages inside a bottle, or in a jar - make sure it is a nice, reusable bottle or jar, so your guests will place it in their kitchen, somewhere at sight, being less probable to forget about your wedding day.

What else do you think a wedding invitation should contain?

The wedding day is one of the longest waited for days in a girl’s life. You want to look the best, you want to be beautiful, so everybody remembers what a beautiful bride you’ve been.

The Funniest Wedding Ever

Do you remember how many weddings you were ever invited to? And how many of them you did attend?

I can’t recall such memories, but that’s for sure that I like to remember the funniest moments of my life. Weddings are not funny in general, but sometimes hilarious things can happen.

Like this cousin of mine, who wanted to get married in an absolutely romantic style, by recreating live the balcony scene from Romeo and Juliet. She did everything, she had a small balcony built in the ceremony hall, but she didn’t think to try it before the wedding day.

The big surprise was that the floor did not resist her weight, and we saw the beautiful bride coming down though the balcony, while her Romeo was playing the guitar and singing a romantic song.

Luckily she did not get hurt, but her hair was looking strange after the fall, and she was not able to put it in order for the whole night. Each time we looked at her, we felt like laughing, and even the groom was laughing every now and then. Besides, her outfit and accessories got all wrinkled, for even more fun.

Boy, we had such a fun! I’ll never forget that wedding.

Wedding Honeymoon And Summer Vacation Go Well Together

The best time to get married is summer. Why do I say this? Because summer is also the vacation season, there are plenty of offers to take, from sunny beach vacations to luxury cruises or mountains hikes.

Since your wedding will most probably be followed by a honeymoon retreat, why not choose the summer, and go, for instance, on the Turkish seaside, where you can find unbelievably good food and where the local people are warm and welcoming with the tourists? One of the best places for vacation I’ve been in was Kusadasi, Turkish resort at the Aegean Sea, nearby the old city of Efes, which is a must see, if you ever get in that area.

If you go by plane and you are from Europe, you can spend there some of your Weekend Breaks, because the flights won’t take too long, and the airport is not very far away from the resort. If you need to book a flight or a hotel, or simply you want some touristic information, you can find all these on websites like www.dialaflight.com, where you can search for flights, hotels and car rentals, or you can even speak with a travel consultant, so you get additional information about great places to spend an unforgettable vacation, or honeymoon, or both.

Wedding Gifts: How To Choose Them

One of the most difficult things when attending a wedding, is to find an appropriate gift for the married couple.

Usually, we are either friends of the bride or of the groom, so w don’t know quite well the other partner. For such situations, there are a few items to be avoided:

- Decorations for house and garden: you don’t know what they really like to see in their own house, so buying them flower vases or small statues, or other pieces of furniture would make their situation more difficult. Only think that they would be forced to display the items you gave them each time you go visit them at home.

- Clothing items or shoes: most probably, the bride is going to get pregnant soon, so she won’t have the chance to wear too much the items you’d give her. As of the shoes, each woman wants to try the shoes before buying, in order to make sure they fit.

- Kitchen utensils: don’t you even think of that! she will be offended, and she may understand that you wish her a new happy life surrounded by her kitchen walls, cooking for a big family and permanently smelling like food.

What do you think? Are there other items to be avoided w3hen you go to a wedding and need to buy a gift?
