More Wedding Superstitions

All important events in life are subject to superstitions. Wedding is one of them, and if you fear bad things that may happen to your marriage, beware of the following:

  1. Don’t wear red when you go to a wedding, because it means disrespect for the bride
  2. Don’t choose a redhead as your bridesmaid as she will steal your groom.
  3. Saturday is a bad day for marriages, being ruled by Saturn, which is associated with negative energies like jealousy
  4. Don’t buy a second hand wedding dress which was not worn at a wedding:  it is jinxed
  5. A cloudy wedding day means troubles in marriage
  6. Bridesmaids should not wash the dishes or they will fall out with the married couple
  7. Buying your partner a watch before the wedding is a symbol of the running out of your relationship’s time
  8. Rose petals are thrown before the bride as she walks down the aisle to ward off the evil spirits that live beneath the ground from coming up at her

I don’t know any cases when these superstitions went true, but if you are concerned about that, just avoid doing those “bad luck” things and you’ll be safe, and your marriage will be happy ;)
