I don’t know how many of you have heard about HDPE Granules, or how many of you actually have seen how plastic things are manufactured. HDPE stands for High Density Polyethylene and it is a plastic which is very widely used nowadays for manufacturing lots of plastic things, such as packages, or protection helmets for workers, or plastic bottles.

The best thing with HDPE is that it is recyclable, making it a very good material now, when we all seek to protect our planet as much as we can. Used HDPE is scraped, and washed, and filtered, and turned into granules, which are used again to manufacture new plastic products. In this way, the HDPE is washed out from all contaminators, and the initial raw material used to obtain HDPE, namely the petroleum is saved.

Another cool property is that the HDPE granules can be colored, thus offering a wide range of possibilities to get beautiful plastic items.
