One of the most difficult things when attending a wedding, is to find an appropriate gift for the married couple.

Usually, we are either friends of the bride or of the groom, so w don’t know quite well the other partner. For such situations, there are a few items to be avoided:

- Decorations for house and garden: you don’t know what they really like to see in their own house, so buying them flower vases or small statues, or other pieces of furniture would make their situation more difficult. Only think that they would be forced to display the items you gave them each time you go visit them at home.

- Clothing items or shoes: most probably, the bride is going to get pregnant soon, so she won’t have the chance to wear too much the items you’d give her. As of the shoes, each woman wants to try the shoes before buying, in order to make sure they fit.

- Kitchen utensils: don’t you even think of that! she will be offended, and she may understand that you wish her a new happy life surrounded by her kitchen walls, cooking for a big family and permanently smelling like food.
