The best time to get married is summer. Why do I say this? Because summer is also the vacation season, there are plenty of offers to take, from sunny beach vacations to luxury cruises or mountains hikes.

Since your wedding will most probably be followed by a honeymoon retreat, why not choose the summer, and go, for instance, on the Turkish seaside, where you can find unbelievably good food and where the local people are warm and welcoming with the tourists? One of the best places for vacation I’ve been in was Kusadasi, Turkish resort at the Aegean Sea, nearby the old city of Efes, which is a must see, if you ever get in that area.

If you go by plane and you are from Europe, you can spend there some of your Weekend Breaks, because the flights won’t take too long, and the airport is not very far away from the resort.
